B2C Commerce Technical Architect – Salesforce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate technical discovery workshops, platform evaluations, and architecture advisory sessions.

• Serve as the main technical consultant for clients regarding headless and composable commerce architecture, PWA storefronts, and Salesforce commerce functionalities.

• Lead pre-sales solution development, which includes defining scopes, outlining solution approaches, and providing estimates.

• Offer insights on AI-driven commerce use cases and the capabilities of Salesforce AI.

• Convert business objectives into technical designs and actionable development tasks.

• Design comprehensive e-commerce solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud and produce necessary technical documentation.

• Mentor developers, offer technical guidance, and perform code evaluations.

• Oversee hands-on technical delivery from design through to post-launch support.

• Identify and resolve performance issues.

• Design and manage third-party integrations utilizing Salesforce Commerce APIs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in e-commerce architecture.

• At least 2 years of experience in pre-sales solution development.

• More than 5 years of practical experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud.

• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud, data models, and PIG environments.

• Familiarity with Salesforce PWA Kit, headless storefronts, and Salesforce Storefront Next architecture.

• Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.

• Proven leadership and mentoring skills.

• Experience with Headless Commerce architecture, CI/CD tools, and external CDN routing.

• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and global eCommerce settings.

• Practical experience with data modeling, extensive product catalogs, and AI/ML service integration.

• Relevant Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer or Salesforce B2C Architect certifications.
