This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more countries.
β’ Oversee, sustain, and provide support for the Azure Stack HCI infrastructure.
β’ Design, implement, and manage virtual machines, storage, and networking elements.
β’ Assess the performance of the Azure Stack HCI infrastructure.
β’ Diagnose and resolve system-related issues.
β’ Ensure that deployments comply with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
β’ Establish and manage access controls, firewalls, and encryption protocols.
β’ Oversee backup and disaster recovery procedures.
β’ Regularly test and validate backup and recovery processes.
β’ Document configurations, procedures, and modifications within the system.
β’ Maintain logs of system performance, issues, and their resolutions.
β’ Offer technical guidance and expertise to IT teams, business units, and management.
β’ Collaborate on various infrastructure projects and initiatives.
β’ Engage in the development and enforcement of security policies and procedures for Azure Stack HCI.
β’ Spot potential performance concerns.
β’ Conduct regular backups of Azure Stack HCI data.
β’ Address incidents and outages related to Azure Stack HCI.
β’ Report to the Infrastructure Manager while closely collaborating with IT team members and stakeholders from different departments.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
β’ Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure Stack HCI certifications are highly preferred.
β’ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering, particularly with Azure Stack HCI or similar technologies.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of Azure Stack HCI, hyper-converged infrastructure, virtualization, storage, and networking.
β’ Knowledge of Windows Server, Azure services, and other relevant Microsoft technologies.
β’ Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
β’ Capacity to handle multiple tasks and thrive under pressure.
β’ Eagerness to remain informed about the latest advancements in Azure Stack HCI and related technologies.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server, Hyper-V, and Storage Spaces Direct.
β’ Experience in HCI architecture and design tools and technologies.
β’ Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Azure Stack HCI.
β’ Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
β’ Capability to meet deadlines while managing pressure effectively.
