AWS Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Jamaica.

📋 Description

• Create scalable, secure, and economically viable AWS solutions customized to meet client needs.

• Spearhead cloud migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions from on-premises systems to AWS.

• Engage in presales activities, which include client presentations, solution showcases, workshops, and proposal crafting.

• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to collect requirements and convert business objectives into technical solutions.

• Offer technical support to clients throughout the project lifecycle and serve as a trusted advisor on cloud strategies.

• Remain updated on AWS services, cloud technologies, and industry developments to discover innovative solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong emphasis on AWS.

• Established experience as an AWS Solutions Architect, especially in cloud migration initiatives.

• Comprehensive understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture best practices, and security measures.

• Proven track record in presales, encompassing client interactions, solution presentations, and proposal formulation.

• Outstanding communication skills, capable of conveying intricate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong executive presence with the capability to influence stakeholders across various levels.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and solution-oriented abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in English at an advanced level.

• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools within AWS ecosystems.

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of cloud compliance frameworks and security standards.

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent certification.

• Experience in conducting AWS workshops and client training sessions.
