AWS Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Create scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS solutions tailored to client specifications.

• Spearhead cloud migration projects transitioning from on-premises systems to AWS.

• Engage in presales efforts, which include client presentations, solution showcases, workshops, and proposal creation.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams to collect requirements and convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Offer technical direction to clients throughout the project lifecycle and consult on cloud strategies.

• Remain updated with AWS services, cloud technologies, and industry developments to discover innovative solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in cloud architecture with a strong emphasis on AWS.

• Proven track record as an AWS Solutions Architect, especially in cloud migration endeavors.

• Comprehensive understanding of AWS services, best practices in cloud architecture, and security protocols.

• Demonstrated involvement in presales activities, including client interactions, solution presentations, and proposal submissions.

• Exceptional communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and solution-oriented skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Capacity to operate both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• Proficient in English at an advanced level.

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools in AWS settings, including Docker, Kubernetes, cloud compliance frameworks and security standards, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent certification, and facilitating AWS workshops and client training sessions is preferred.
