This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee national pharmacy operations in the acute care sector.
• Deliver operational guidance across 90 acute care hospitals.
• Develop and execute pharmacy operational standards and initiatives across various markets.
• Recognize and implement enhancements in pharmacy operations, processes, technology, safety, and outcomes.
• Lead national initiatives from initial concept through to successful implementation.
• Collaborate with market pharmacy leaders, hospital presidents, CEOs, and other senior executives.
• Foster trust and alignment within a complex, decentralized organization.
• Facilitate leadership development, professional growth, and succession planning.
• Cultivate relationships with pharmacy leaders and encourage a robust national pharmacy community.
• Provide executive-level oversight concerning pharmacy policies, regulatory compliance, controlled substances, technology, medication safety, and operational standards.
• Pharmacist credentials must be obtained before the hire date or transfer date.
• A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy is required.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience is required.
• At least 5 years of cumulative leadership or management experience is necessary.
• 7–10+ years of progressive experience in pharmacy leadership is expected.
• At least 5–7 years of experience in hospital/acute care pharmacy is required.
• The current or most recent position should be within a hospital or health-system environment.
• Leadership experience at the Manager, Director, Assistant Director, VP, or equivalent level is essential.
• Completion of a pharmacy residency is preferred.
• Experience in hospital pharmacy leadership is strongly preferred.
• A pharmacy residency, particularly in hospital pharmacy, is preferred.
