This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.
• Develop, oversee, and validate requirements at the aircraft, system, and component levels.
• Ensure bidirectional traceability and alignment with regulatory and certification requirements.
• Implement SAE ARP4754A and ARP4761 methodologies to support safety assessments such as FHA, FTA, and FMEA.
• Assist with certification planning under Part 23, Part 27, and Part 33.
• Author, execute, and maintain verification plans, procedures, and test documentation.
• Coordinate laboratory, integration, and system-level tests for vibration, airframe, fuselage, interiors, environmental control systems, and electric engine systems.
• Conduct system behavior modeling.
• Support test automation and data analysis to ensure adherence to certification timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams within a certification-oriented environment.
• Contribute to the development, certification, and validation of electric aviation platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or relevant technical military experience.
• Over 10 years of experience in Part 23 or 27 aircraft or rotorcraft programs.
• Strong understanding of SAE ARP4754A, ARP4761, FAA Order 8110.4C, RTCA DO-160G, DO-331, and DO-178C.
• Experience with ARP4754A-based verification, requirements-based testing, and traceability audits.
• Proficient in ALM and verification tools such as Polarion, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with solid modeling tools like Onshape, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar.
• Comfortable operating in a cross-functional, certification-driven environment.
• Desirable: experience with Part 23 Amendment 64, ASTM F3338, Part 33 certification, or electric propulsion systems.
• Desirable: knowledge of Polarion ALM, CATIA, ANSYS, Mil-HDBK-217 / Mil-HDBK-21.
• Desirable: experience with reliability tools such as PTC Windchill, Isograph, and Relyence.
• Test and automation experience using Python or other test automation frameworks.
• Background in aerospace verification and validation.
• Previous experience in a certifying environment involving Part 23, 25, 27, 29, or DO-based programs for EASA or FAA.
• May require security clearance or a willingness to obtain one.
