This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead comprehensive airline and space-tenant initiatives across the SFO.
• Establish strategies, policies, and operational frameworks for the allocation and optimization of terminal, gate, and facility spaces.
• Ensure tenant adherence to lease obligations, Airport Rules and Regulations, and relevant policies and procedures.
• Guide the resolution of intricate or significant tenant issues.
• Supervise lease negotiations, landlord relations, and property management functions.
• Create and execute tenant space programs by coordinating facility design, leasing needs, operational requirements, and stakeholder interests.
• Provide strategic and operational guidance for the Airport Space Request System.
• Spearhead aviation and land use business development initiatives.
• Manage negotiations for the acquisition of properties necessary for aviation purposes.
• Develop and oversee right-of-way agreements, permits, and related property contracts.
• Counsel executive management on business terms, commercial agreements, property usage, and Airport development prospects.
• Supervise aviation business development, revenue-generating projects, and public and employee parking operations.
• Lead, nurture, mentor, and manage direct reports.
• Oversee policies, procedures, compliance, and governance related to space utilization and allocation.
• Perform additional responsibilities as defined in the 0941 Manager VI job classification.
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university.
• Four years of managerial experience in a supervisory role.
• Four years of infrastructure management experience within a sizable organization.
• A Master’s degree may substitute for up to one year of the required experience.
• Relevant experience may replace the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis for up to two years.
• Must meet minimum qualifications by the final filing deadline.
• Potential submission of verification for qualifying education and experience may be required.
• Required to undergo a criminal history record check, including FBI fingerprints, and Security Threat Assessment.
• Drug/alcohol screening may be required.
• Must obtain and maintain eligibility for TSA security clearance.
• Must qualify for unescorted access to the U.S. Customs Security Area at San Francisco International Airport.
• Must apply for, successfully obtain, and retain a Customs Access Seal after commencing employment.
• Experience in negotiating airline-airport lease and use agreements.
