Automotive Key Account Leader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement strategies aimed at enhancing 3M's business and relevance with customers.

• Meet established sales targets for the designated key account.

• Relay the Voice of the Customer within the 3M organization.

• Utilize both Global and Local 3M resources and networks to fulfill customer requirements.

• Direct 3M’s growth and market relevance in the short, medium, and long term concerning spec-in and consumable products.

• Foster interactions across the customer's organization to establish a collaborative network at every level.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Planners, Managers, and occasionally senior Executives.

• Gain comprehensive knowledge of the customer’s global and local structure, KPIs, market share, strategies, as well as design, manufacturing, and marketing trends.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.

• At least 5 years of experience working with Automotive Key Accounts that operate on a global scale.

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken, at an intermediate to advanced level.

• Strong skills in Time Management, Prioritization, and Administration are essential.

• Familiarity with the specification process (Spec-in) is preferred.

• Intermediate proficiency in Office software is required.

• Knowledge and experience in Project Management are advantageous.

• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, SAP, or Oracle is beneficial.

• Experience working with Automotive OEMs is preferred.

• Training in Sales Processes and Techniques is favored.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
