This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Formulate and execute sales strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining dealer clients in the automotive industry.
• Establish and nurture relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers to ascertain their financing requirements.
• Recognize opportunities for portfolio expansion by showcasing financing solutions and advocating for Westlake Floorplan Company's offerings.
• Perform market research to stay competitive and ensure services align with industry trends.
• Supervise the management of the automotive floorplan portfolio and guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Track account performance and proactively resolve client issues and concerns.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve customer experience.
• Offer training and assistance to dealerships regarding financing solutions and services.
• Keep an eye on dealership conditions and performance metrics.
• Create and maintain risk assessment models to evaluate dealership creditworthiness.
• Partner with internal teams to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Oversee portfolio performance, which includes loan balances, dealer performance, and payment patterns.
• Willingness to travel over 75%, including some overnight trips.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with the automotive sector and its various domains.
• Strong financial insight and a solid understanding of essential financial tools and terminology.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to engage with clients and collaborate with both internal team members and external partners.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient negotiation and collection abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Capability to work independently and thrive in a remote setting.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• BA/BS in a relevant field with 3 years of related experience, or a comparable blend of education and work experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in finance, sales, account management, and/or collections.
• Willingness to travel over 75%, with some overnight travel necessary.
• Ability to travel by flying and driving.
• Capability to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
• A valid driver's license is required.
