This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Design and execute sales strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining dealer clients in the automotive industry.
• Establish and nurture relationships with dealership owners and key decision-makers to comprehend their financing requirements.
• Identify opportunities for portfolio growth by showcasing financing solutions and promoting Westlake Floorplan Company products.
• Conduct market analysis to stay competitive and align services with industry developments.
• Manage the servicing of the automotive floorplan portfolio, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Track account performance and proactively resolve client issues or concerns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve the customer experience.
• Offer training and support to dealerships regarding financing solutions and services.
• Assess dealership conditions and performance regularly.
• Develop and maintain risk assessment models to evaluate the creditworthiness of dealerships.
• Work with internal teams to guarantee compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Monitor portfolio performance, including loan balances, dealer performance, and payment trends.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with the automotive industry and its diverse sectors.
• Strong financial understanding and proficiency in essential financial tools and terminology.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging with clients and collaborating with internal and external partners.
• Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient negotiation and collection skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a remote work environment.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• BA/BS in a relevant field with 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in finance, sales, account management, and/or collections is required.
• Willingness to travel over 75% of the time, including some overnight trips.
• Must have the capability to travel, fly, and drive.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
• A valid driver's license is essential.
