This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Create and execute sales strategies aimed at attracting and retaining dealer clients within the automotive industry.
• Establish and nurture relationships with dealership owners and influential decision-makers to comprehend their financing requirements.
• Spot portfolio expansion opportunities by offering financing solutions and promoting the services of Westlake Floorplan Company.
• Conduct market analysis to stay competitive and ensure alignment of services with industry developments.
• Supervise the management of the automotive floorplan portfolio to guarantee customer satisfaction.
• Track account performance and proactively resolve client issues or concerns.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve customer experience.
• Provide training and assistance to dealerships on financing solutions and available services.
• Keep an eye on dealership conditions and performance metrics.
• Create and uphold risk assessment models to assess dealership creditworthiness.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Monitor portfolio performance, including loan balances, dealer performance, and payment trends.
• Be prepared for travel exceeding 75%, including occasional overnight stays.
• Proficient in both English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with the automotive sector and its various components.
• Solid financial knowledge and a good understanding of essential financial tools and terminology.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to engage with clients and collaborate with both internal team members and external partners.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient negotiation and collection capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving expertise.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote setting.
• Skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• BA/BS in a relevant field with 3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance, sales, account management, and/or collections is required.
• Willingness to travel by flying and driving.
• Capability to sit and stand for prolonged periods.
• A valid driver's license is necessary.
• Annual base salary of $50,000.
• Guaranteed bonus income of $2,000 per month for the first four months (first month is prorated), $1,500 for months five and six, $1,000 for month seven, and $333 for months eight through twelve.
• Average monthly vehicle mileage reimbursement program of $450.
