Automotive Claims Support Adjuster – Mechanical, Bilingual

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Supervise and manage vehicle service contract claims.

• Conduct and coordinate inspections for claims that exceed specified thresholds or when necessary to confirm reported failures.

• Review contract terms and establish coverage eligibility in accordance with policy guidelines.

• Validate supporting documents and evaluate repair estimates for accuracy and completeness.

• Communicate with repair facilities, customers, and internal partners to provide updates, guidance, and resolve issues.

• Maintain precise claim records and documentation throughout the claims lifecycle.

• Achieve productivity and quality standards while exercising sound judgment to support fair and consistent claim decisions.

• Identify and escalate complex issues or exceptions as necessary.

• Engage in active listening while performing accurate data entry simultaneously.

• Work in a remote setting with frequent inbound phone communication.

• Utilize claims management systems and internal tools to organize workload and ensure efficient processing.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Must be fluent in English and French.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Automotive Service Industry required (Technician/Mechanic, Service Advisors, Parts Advisor, Parts Counter/Specialist).

• Strong Automotive Technical and Mechanical knowledge is essential.

• Previous experience in claims handling, automotive service, warranty administration, or a related field is required.

• Proficiency in Windows, MS-Office Products, and basic computer skills are necessary.

• Effective communication, documentation, and customer service skills are required.

• Ability to assess information, apply policy guidelines, and make sound decisions.

• Must be authorized to work in Canada.

• Must be able to successfully pass a background check.

• ASE Certifications (Past or Current) are preferred.

• OEM Certifications (Past or Current) are preferred.

• Automotive Trade/Technical Degree/Graduate is preferred.

• Experience in Claims Adjudication is preferred.
