Automation Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Set up, configure, manage, and provide support for IBM MQ environments and WebSphere cells (Network Deployment), ideally on the RHEL platform.

• Automate various infrastructure processes.

• Configure WebSphere cells utilizing wsadmin with Jython scripting.

• Employ Puppet within WebSphere environments.

• Develop and sustain automation routines employing Ansible, Shell Script, PowerShell, or Python.

• Analyze and troubleshoot Java EE applications effectively.

• Conduct diagnostic analysis by leveraging centralized logging tools like Splunk or Elastic Stack.

• Manage containers using Docker or Podman, including the creation of Dockerfiles.

• Utilize version control for code with Git, encompassing command-line operations, commits, pulls, and pushes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Technology or another advanced educational program, along with a postgraduate qualification in IT.

• ITIL Foundation v3 or higher certification or training; equivalent documented training is also acceptable.

• Proven experience in automating infrastructure processes or managing configurations with Puppet, Ansible, or similar tools in a large-scale, high-availability environment.

• Proficiency in Shell Script and Ansible.

• Familiarity with YAML and JSON formats.

• Experience working with REST APIs.

• Competency in using Git.

• Hands-on experience with Docker or Podman.

• Proficiency in PowerShell or Python.

• Background in using Ansible and Puppet.

• Experience with Jython scripting.

• Familiarity with Splunk or Elastic Stack.

• Technical proficiency in IT English adequate for reading articles and documentation, as well as basic written communication with manufacturers.

• Experience in installing and managing IBM MQ environments.

• Experience in installing and managing WebSphere cells (Network Deployment).

• Background in analyzing and troubleshooting Java EE applications.

• Practical knowledge of troubleshooting and monitoring using Dynatrace or a comparable APM tool is a plus.

• Experience in operating applications on the RHEL platform is advantageous.
