Automation Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Identify, scope, and secure Laboratory Automation Solutions within the Pharma, Synthetic Biology, and Clinical sectors

• Collaborate with Field Application Specialists and Field Project Managers to define and implement Laboratory Automation Solutions

• Analyze and expand market share within the designated territory

• Represent the company in customer negotiations, trade exhibitions, seminars, conferences, and other official events

• Work closely with team members to deliver automated solutions

• Achieve territory sales targets for hardware and consumables

• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives

• Uphold Danaher core values and utilize the Danaher Business System

• Promote Voice of the Customer feedback across the organization

• Advocate for client needs, product quality, and exceptional customer solutions

• Enhance customer satisfaction

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in North America is essential

• Experience in direct sales and preferably in engaging with distribution channel partners

• In-depth knowledge of the North American Biopharma, Academia, Government, and Life Sciences markets

• Prior exposure to Laboratory Automation is highly advantageous

• Experience in Clinical, Pharmaceutical, or Synthetic Biology laboratories

• Strong analytical abilities

• Problem-solving mindset

• Solid understanding of business principles

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment

• Willingness to travel 25%, including overnight trips within the territory or to other locations

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record

• Laboratory Automation experience is an asset

• Master’s or PhD in Life Sciences or Chemistry is beneficial

• Experience in Clinical Laboratories is a plus
