Automation QA Lead – Betting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold QA standards, frameworks, and processes that are in line with Agile and DevOps methodologies.

• Ensure adherence to both organizational and regulatory standards.

• Provide guidance on quality enhancement initiatives and assess their effectiveness.

• Design and execute automated testing strategies for functional, integration, and performance testing.

• Lead the creation and upkeep of automation frameworks.

• Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and prompt feedback.

• Track automation coverage and efficiency, delivering metrics to stakeholders.

• Integrate QA practices into Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.

• Work alongside DevOps teams to incorporate testing in the deployment pipeline.

• Advocate for shift-left testing and ongoing quality throughout the development lifecycle.

• Support test environments and implement infrastructure as code for enhanced scalability and reliability.

• Choose and apply testing tools and methodologies for both automation and manual testing.

• Foster best practices in test automation and continuous integration.

• Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to achieve quality goals.

• Relay test outcomes, automation advancements, risks, and suggestions to stakeholders.

• Mentor and guide QA team members in automation and Agile/DevOps practices.

• Allocate resources and oversee workload distribution across various projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in QA leadership positions with a strong emphasis on automated testing and Agile/DevOps settings.

• Proficiency in automation frameworks, such as Specflow or Reqnroll.

• Skilled in scripting languages, particularly C#.

• Experience with integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, including tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Familiarity with containerization and cloud-based testing environments, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Exceptional communication abilities and stakeholder management skills.
