This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Lead the installation and deployment of BG technology at customer locations, overseeing the process from installation to the transition to System Engineering.
• Ensure adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and federal, state, and local laws.
• Supervise installation contractors and address any deployment challenges that arise.
• Oversee BG engineers on-site who are responsible for installation tasks.
• Foster relationships with on-site customers and coordinate site-specific activities with local building management.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to fulfill installation requirements.
• Facilitate feedback and improvement initiatives from sites to the System Engineering teams.
• Support ongoing projects to ensure progress and to prevent or minimize stoppages or downtime.
• Monitor and achieve operational and budgetary project metrics.
• Create standardization processes and technical solutions aimed at reducing installation time and costs.
• Manage customer training and handoff activities for a seamless integration of BG technology into current operations.
• Oversee installation and on-site resources without having direct reports.
• Required to travel 100% of the time.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or installation management.
• Proven experience in managing hardware installations and the commissioning of industrial equipment.
• Experience in leading engineering teams.
• Proficiency in managing construction contractors.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices.
• Ability to interpret CAD drawings, electrical schematics, or other engineering diagrams.
• Confidence and expertise in providing technical explanations regarding problems or issues identified during deployment.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems, software messaging flows, and IT hardware.
• Demonstrated experience in customer management and support.
• Strong sense of urgency and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to engage with senior management levels both internally and externally at the site level.
• Capability to manage multiple high-priority tasks concurrently.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
