Automation Expert – ServiceNow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage workflows in ServiceNow, overseeing automation scripts and APIs.

• Automate system deployments utilizing ZDP, handling software updates, decommissioning, configuration hardening, firewall rule checks and modifications, system audits, and health assessments.

• Establish, configure, and oversee an orchestration platform within ServiceNow, including status dashboards for technicians.

• Enhance and customize Ansible playbooks for Software-Defined Networks.

• Integrate and manage GitLab CI/CD processes to facilitate end-to-end, version-controlled, traceable automation.

• Implement target configurations and carry out workflows through the established change management process.

• Update and coordinate associated systems such as the CMDB, monitoring systems, DNS, CyberArc, and other interconnected platforms.

• Automatically produce validation documents for changes.

• Document tasks in accordance with FI-TS documentation standards.

• Provide training and onboarding.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English, both oral and written.

• Knowledge of German is a plus.

• Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow workflow design with interfaces to various APIs, including CheckMK, CyberArc, and Infoblox.

• Extensive experience in creating and customizing business rules within ServiceNow.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Ansible, Python, and GitLab.

• Strong understanding of user-friendly UI design.

• Sprint-based, customer-oriented, and methodical work approach.

• Team-oriented individual.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to assert oneself.

• Familiarity with networks and firewalls.
