📋 Description

• Assist Airbnb in utilizing AI to transform and expedite Quality Engineering.

• Develop and sustain automation coverage for various features and releases.

• Collaborate directly with product engineering teams to create and uphold testing tools.

• Write and evaluate product code.

• Engage in design reviews to construct architecturally testable systems.

• Provide guidance on designs and code to improve modularity and testability.

• Create, maintain, and implement automated tests.

• Work alongside engineering teams to guarantee comprehensive test coverage.

• Enhance existing automation frameworks to support new functionalities and improve quality efficiency.

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines in coordination with the CI/CD team.

• Troubleshoot and isolate issues, verify bug fixes, and debug problems during testing and post-release.

• Collaborate with product management, development, and other Quality Engineering teams.

• Learn and implement AI-assisted tools and LLMs to streamline test creation and maintenance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in software development or test automation; recent graduates with pertinent internship or project experience are encouraged to apply.

• Fundamental knowledge of at least one programming language, including JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Kotlin, Swift, or Java.

• Experience in writing automated tests or engaging with a testing framework, such as Playwright, Cypress, Espresso, or XCUITest, through work, internships, or personal projects.

• Understanding of basic testing concepts and a strong desire to learn about the testing pyramid, CI/CD, and quality best practices.

• Interest in applying AI/LLMs to enhance testing and developer productivity.

• Comfortable collaborating in English.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.
