Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement comprehensive RPA workflows utilizing UiPath.

• Evaluate business processes and convert requirements into technical specifications and automation strategies.

• Create reusable automation components and sophisticated RPA solutions.

• Craft and enhance SQL queries to support automation and data operations.

• Troubleshoot workflows, conduct root-cause analysis, perform break-fix activities, and drive continuous improvements.

• Oversee RPA bots, dashboards, integrations, and automation solutions.

• Design and manage SharePoint Online solutions leveraging Microsoft Power Platform.

• Collaborate with business units, IT, process owners, platform owners, and cross-functional teams.

• Implement Agile and Lean methodologies to effectively manage backlogs and deliver incremental enhancements.

• Set standards for automation development, documentation, coding, value measurement, and governance practices.

• Convey project risks, issues, timelines, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.

• Create technical designs and specifications while adhering to SDLC standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in architecting, designing, developing, and deploying RPA solutions using UiPath.

• At least 2 years of experience serving as an RPA Solution Architect.

• Over 3 years of experience in developing and maintaining SharePoint Online solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.

• More than 8 years of experience in software application development and implementation.

• Extensive familiarity with UiPath Automation Hub, Orchestrator, Studio Web, and Insights.

• Strong experience in UiPath workflow development and debugging.

• Proficient in OCR data extraction techniques.

• Solid understanding of programming, software design, and coding standards.

• Knowledgeable in REST and SOAP APIs.

• Excellent analytical, research, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Candidates must consent to fingerprint background checks.

• Government-provided equipment must remain within the United States and not be taken outside.

• Preferred: experience with AI technologies such as OCR/ICR, chatbots, machine learning, and natural language processing.

• Preferred: UiPath Automation Developer Professional, UiPath Automation Solution Architect Professional, or UiPath Agentic Automation Professional certification.

• A Master’s degree in a related discipline is preferred.
