Automation and Performance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee the functional aspects of the client's platform.

• Assist the lead with high-risk settlement and access-control tasks.

• Create and implement functional test cases for processes involving account creation, call/challenge/pool flows, and outcome resolution.

• Conduct testing against the SECURITY DEFINER RPC layer instead of direct table access.

• Provide support for testing related to settlement paths and money movement.

• Implement age-gating and identity-verification processes where applicable.

• Utilize seeded test accounts and client-supplied data while adhering to precise handle formatting.

• Record defects with detailed reproduction steps in the shared tracking system.

• Perform re-testing following fixes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong QA/test engineering background with modern web applications.

• Proficient in SQL/Postgres for data validation and result verification.

• Familiarity with Next.js or similar JavaScript frameworks, along with API/RPC testing.

• Accurate and detail-oriented execution of tests.

• Ability to report reproducible defects in clear written English.

• Experience with payments, wallets, or transaction testing is a plus.

• Knowledge of Supabase / Vercel is a plus.

• Interest in testing real-money platforms and working towards settlement tasks is a plus.

• Persona credentials may be necessary for testing identity-verification flows.
