Audit Coordinator – Inbound/Outbound Calls

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage incoming provider calls, document details, and resolve issues effectively.

• Oversee and respond to internal and external emails in accordance with established service levels.

• Handle the mailbox by assigning emails, tracking aging messages, and generating reports for management.

• Record and return voicemails within set service levels.

• Make outbound calls to aid providers with portal navigation, confirm contact information, and verify receipt of request letters.

• Elevate unresolved issues to management and ensure follow-up as necessary.

• Communicate workflow or system issues to leadership and report accordingly.

• Consistently achieve quality and productivity benchmarks.

• Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations in all communications.

• Assist with the post-audit process and participate in company-wide initiatives through additional assigned tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma is required.

• An Associate degree or relevant certification is advantageous.

• Previous customer service or experience in a high-volume call center is essential.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Claims Analyst or Claims Auditor in a managed care environment (such as a hospital, health plan, or physician office) is required.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook.

• Capability to suggest improvements and streamline processes.

• High integrity and commitment to confidentiality are essential.

• Comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced setting with multiple software programs.

• Must maintain compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
