This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee month-end accounting tasks, which include preparing journals, reconciling balance sheets, and maintaining the general ledger.
• Assume responsibility for assigned asset and liability accounts, such as cash and bank, prepayments, fixed assets, creditors, and accruals.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of reconciliations, promptly identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
• Conduct expense analysis and assist with management reporting needs.
• Uphold the accuracy and integrity of financial data within the general ledger.
• Aid in quarterly, half-year, and year-end reporting processes, including compliance with NASDAQ and ASIC reporting requirements and external audits.
• Provide payroll assistance for both Australian and US operations, including full payroll processing during periods of leave coverage.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to meet finance activity and reporting deadlines.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at process improvement, ad hoc financial analysis, and finance-related projects.
• Offer general support to the Finance team as needed.
• 3-5+ years of experience in a Financial Accountant role or a similar accounting position.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• CPA, CA, or equivalent accounting qualification (or currently pursuing completion).
• Solid understanding of month-end processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Familiarity with NetSuite and/or Power BI will be viewed favorably.
• Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Capability to manage competing priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team setting.

• Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM PHT (with adjustments for daylight saving time).
