Associations Manager – Technology Advisory

📋 Description

• Identify, prioritize, and finalize partnerships with industry and professional associations.

• Negotiate partnership agreements and foster relationships with executives, boards, and committee chairs.

• Create and modify a repeatable model for association programs.

• Develop educational series, webinars, assessments, briefings, co-branded content, events, and sponsorships.

• Manage the program calendar, sponsorship commitments, and return on investment.

• Shape the content's substance and sequencing with assistance from marketing, design, and subject matter experts.

• Inform business development, delivery, and advisory teams about association partnerships and program offerings.

• Transform member engagement into qualified opportunities and secured work.

• Monitor the pipeline by association and renegotiate or exit underperforming partnerships.

• Collaborate with marketing, alliances, business development, and advisory groups to enhance the firm’s go-to-market strategy.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in channel or alliance development, partnerships, association and membership programs, or business development in professional services or enterprise technology.

• Proven track record of generating real revenue through relationships and programs, with quantifiable results.

• Direct selling experience, especially in technology or SaaS sales, is highly advantageous.

• Familiarity with enterprise technologies such as ERP, CRM, HCM, BI, and AI.

• Comprehension of industry operations and the ability to tailor programs to address members’ challenges.

• Experience managing partnerships from initial discussions to signed agreements and pipeline production.

• Capability to develop reusable program models instead of custom programs each time.

• Strong presence when engaging with executives and boards.

• Excellent writing and presentation abilities.

• A degree in business, marketing, information technology, accounting, or a related field is preferred.

• Certifications in association management, alliances, or CRM are a plus.
