This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement comprehensive clinical strategies across the enterprise to enhance member health outcomes.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of clinical program and product development, from initial concept and pilot design to launch and scaling.
• Maintain strategic oversight of scaled initiatives to guarantee ongoing improvement and sustained impact.
• Direct the strategy and execution of digital health partnerships.
• Guide the Stars clinical strategy and interventions for crucial HEDIS measures, including GSD, CBP, and Care Coordination.
• Spearhead specialty strategies in high-cost areas such as oncology, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and kidney care.
• Adapt the long-term strategy for integrated clinical products based on member requirements.
• Lead the team while collaborating with business leaders, clinicians, product managers, analytics, engineering, and design teams.
• Develop strategies for intricate clinical programs alongside multidisciplinary enterprise partners.
• Coordinate enterprise-wide initiatives focusing on high-value opportunities and synergies across teams.
• Create, test, and scale cross-functional methods that enhance member experience, clinical outcomes, and cost of care.
• Establish repeatable capabilities and operational models.
• Provide strategic insights, updates, and presentations for enterprise-wide forums.
• Influence senior decision-makers at Humana regarding opportunities to enhance health, reduce costs, and elevate experience.
• Exercise independent judgment and decision-making on complex matters.
• MD or DO degree is required.
• Over 10 years of experience in strategy and operations development and implementation within healthcare-related organizations.
• Expertise in clinical operations.
• Profound understanding of care delivery across payers and providers, particularly at their intersection.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in product roles, including analytics, engineering, design, and clinical functions.
• Strong background in business and/or consulting.
• Solid business and financial acumen.
• Proficient in analytics and data utilization.
• Experienced in leading cross-functional teams to execute intricate projects.
• Background in process improvement.
• Ability to influence, establish, and drive enhanced business outcomes.
• Capability to lead a diverse group toward a unified vision, with proven results in motivation, engagement, and achieving goals.
• Must have a minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.
