
Associate Vice President – US Policy Campaigns

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Identify strategic alliances that support US policy initiatives.
• Leverage stakeholder engagement to generate momentum for legislative action on key issues such as price control mitigation, PBM reform, and prevention policy.
• Implement strategies to enhance policy arguments and resources with external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business units, Government Affairs, and Lilly USA teams to further US policy objectives.
• Create synchronized policy-shaping strategies aligned with enterprise-wide goals.
• Develop and deploy tools, resources, analytics, and strategic partnerships.
• Influence and oversee comprehensive policy campaigns.
• Craft policy narratives that address emerging threats to policy.
• Formulate tactics to garner public support for policy reform.
• Engage both internal and external stakeholders to foster consensus and advocacy momentum.
• Lead and manage external consultants.
• Foster support for the value of prescription drugs and public confidence in science.
• Integrate stakeholder feedback into strategic plans.
• Align short-term and long-term policy goals with therapeutic area corporate affairs teams.
• Develop and guide multi-stakeholder coalitions.
• Monitor emerging issues, regulatory developments, legislative trends, and political risks.
• Over 7 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, trade association, government, stakeholder organization, academic think-tank, or payer organization, with a Master's degree; or a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience.
• Proven ability to drive action through relationship-building and collaborative cross-functional efforts.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Exceptional oral presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and succinctly.
• Strong organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Comprehensive understanding of political and regulatory landscapes.
• Demonstrated experience in building relationships with industry associations and other stakeholders.
• Background in designing and implementing integrated public affairs strategies.
• Strong strategic thinking skills, with the capacity to anticipate and respond to emerging challenges and opportunities.
• Willingness to travel 15%-30% of the time.
