
Associate Vice President – Enterprise Digital Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define the long-term vision, product strategy, target outcomes, and sustainable roadmap for Humana’s enterprise digital platform portfolio.
• Convert enterprise priorities and customer requirements into actionable opportunities and validate desirability, viability, quality, and executability prior to scaling investment.
• Manage portfolio priorities and make investment recommendations.
• Oversee the enterprise design system as a platform product, including its roadmap, governance, service model, reusable components, standards, and enabling tools.
• Develop and implement a strategy for enterprise adoption focused on priority business and customer use cases.
• Collaborate with business and channel product leaders on activation plans, readiness, dependencies, and the timeline for value realization.
• Promote the adoption of the enterprise design system across web, mobile, and associate experiences.
• Create enablement resources, standards, playbooks, communities of practice, and feedback mechanisms.
• Define product operating model decision rights for demand intake, portfolio priorities, capability reuse, funding trade-offs, and lifecycle management.
• Lead governance for enterprise and design systems, including contribution standards, stage-gate decisions, release priorities, exceptions, and adoption requirements.
• Collaborate with technology and engineering leaders to align product, architecture, and delivery roadmaps.
• Conduct executive portfolio and investment reviews and manage trade-offs, resources, dependencies, and strategic vendor relationships.
• Establish portfolio objectives, key results, baselines, targets, and executive scorecards.
• Assess adoption, reuse, accessibility, speed to market, customer and business impact, cost savings, and return on investment.
• Leverage performance insights to validate benefits, reprioritize investments, address adoption gaps, and communicate progress, risks, and decisions.
• Lead and mentor directors, senior product leaders, and dedicated cross-functional platform teams.
• Cultivate a customer-focused culture emphasizing discovery, experimentation, evidence-based prioritization, enterprise reuse, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Enhance product operating model capabilities, roles, workflows, succession planning, and career development across a matrixed organization.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in product management, platform strategy, digital transformation, MarTech, experience design enablement, or a related field.
• Proven leadership of enterprise-scale portfolios and teams.
• Experience operating within a product-focused model.
• Persistent ownership of products and leadership of cross-functional teams.
• Development of outcome-driven roadmaps.
• Evidence-based decision-making for investments.
• Continuous realization of value.
• Familiarity with customer engagement and experience-enablement platforms, including customer data, journey orchestration, content management, consent, personalization, analytics, design systems, or reusable digital services.
• Understanding of design systems as platform products, including reusable components, accessibility, governance, contribution models, and adoption across design and engineering teams.
• Ability to establish product decision rights and models for value realization.
• Strong business and financial acumen in a complex, regulated environment.
• Exceptional skills in executive influence and communication.
• Experience leading senior leaders and high-performing teams across business, design, and technology domains.
• A dedicated workspace free from interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information.
• Home internet service with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.
• Preferred: hands-on product leadership experience with Adobe Experience Platform, including Real-Time CDP, Journey Optimizer, Customer Journey Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or Adobe Experience Manager.
• Preferred: familiarity with next-best-action, decisioning, AI or machine-learning-driven personalization, propensity models, and experimentation frameworks.
• Preferred: experience in healthcare, financial services, insurance, or another highly regulated consumer industry.
• Preferred: experience in rationalizing platforms, enhancing capability reuse, and phasing out duplicate technologies or solutions.
