Associate Staff Engineer, Service Now – ATF & Testing on GRC module

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Design, configure, and sustain automated testing scripts utilizing the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).

• Ensure the quality, dependability, and consistency of ServiceNow applications and modules through automated testing.

• Collaborate with business and project teams to gather requirements and develop test plans, cases, and scenarios.

• Execute both manual and automated test cases while meticulously documenting outcomes.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across various ServiceNow applications.

• Test the ServiceNow GRC module and verify workflows, controls, and business processes.

• Carry out testing within ITSM modules, including Incident, Change, Problem, and CMDB.

• Assist in validation and testing during ServiceNow platform upgrades and releases.

• Identify, log, track, and manage defects until resolution.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to address testing challenges.

• Validate REST and SOAP API integrations and facilitate API automation testing.

• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and release planning.

• Provide testing status updates, metrics, and reports to project stakeholders.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of testing processes, frameworks, and quality assurance methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

• Extensive experience in ServiceNow Testing and Automation, specifically with the Automated Test Framework (ATF).

• Practical experience in testing the ServiceNow GRC module.

• Familiarity with testing ServiceNow platform upgrades and releases.

• Comprehensive manual and automated testing experience adhering to STLC methodologies.

• Strong grasp of Test Management and Defect Management procedures.

• Understanding of REST and SOAP APIs, including API testing and automation.

• Experience working in Agile development environments.

• Knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM modules, including Incident, Change, Problem, and CMDB.

• Familiarity with testing tools such as Cypress, TestComplete, or Robot Framework is a plus.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) certification is required.

• Automated Test Framework (ATF) Micro-Certification is required.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
