Associate Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with artists and designers to identify and articulate game features and system requirements.

• Develop, test, debug, and uphold source code integrity.

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, functional systems that meet specifications.

• Work alongside fellow engineers to create and refine game features.

• Provide continuous support to artists and designers throughout the development process.

• Make informed decisions regarding scope, quality, and development pace.

• Create innovative games for console, PC, and mobile platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient programming skills.

• Extensive understanding of algorithms and data structures.

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Prior experience in software development within a professional setting (preferred).

• Familiarity with agile methodologies in software development (preferred).

• Experience in game development using Unreal and/or Unity Game Engines (preferred).

• Proficiency in C++ or C# (preferred).

• Background in developing applications or games for mobile or console platforms (preferred).
