Associate, Scoring Service

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess test question responses from Georgia teacher candidates

• Absorb scoring criteria thoroughly

• Engage in collaborative discussions and consensus scoring activities with fellow evaluators

• Identify and discuss biases such as implicit, cultural, leniency, central tendency, and halo effect

• Implement strategies to mitigate personal biases during scoring

• Adhere to quality and productivity standards set by the scoring program

• Complete all required training prior to the commencement of scoring

• Possibly participate in a brief orientation meeting before scoring begins

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher

• A valid teaching certification in the relevant subject area

• Currently practicing or possessing two (2) or more years of recent experience in a public school service role in the subject area, OR have served recently as a college/university/program faculty member preparing candidates for the subject

• Must not be an active Georgia educator or based in the State of Georgia

• Fundamental computer skills (keyboard and mouse proficiency)

• Capability to remain seated for extended periods

• Ability to uphold a confidential work environment

• Eligible to work in the United States

• Must successfully pass a qualifying examination prior to scoring

• Both active and recently retired practitioners may qualify
