This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Assess responses to examination queries from Florida teacher candidates

• Assimilate scoring criteria

• Engage in discussions and collaborate with fellow scorers during scoring activities

• Adhere to the quality and productivity standards set for the scoring program

• Successfully pass a qualifying examination prior to scoring

• Complete requisite training before the scoring process commences

• Attend a brief orientation session if necessary

• Participate in scoring sessions one day every two weeks, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to approximately 4:30 PM EST

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or higher

• A current teaching certification in the relevant subject area you are applying for, with either active practice or a minimum of five (5) years of recent experience in a public school service role in that subject area

• OR a bachelor's degree or higher, with current or previous employment at a college, university, or community college in the same subject area to be evaluated, along with at least 5 years of teaching experience in that subject area

• Must receive approval to score from the Florida Department of Education

• Availability to work on a weekday from 8:30 AM EST to 4:00 PM EST

• Basic computer skills (keyboard, mouse)

• Capability to sit for prolonged periods

• Ability to maintain confidentiality in the work environment

• Eligibility to work in the United States

• Expertise in English for grades 6-12
