This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Drive revenue generation within a designated territory, product category, or specific accounts.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Market Baxter’s medical diagnostic products to physician offices and clinics.
• Showcase products and articulate how Baxter's offerings address customer business challenges.
• Engage with existing and potential acute and primary care clients in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with account executives, area vice presidents, clinical consultants, sales engineers, solution architects, corporate and strategic accounts, and product management teams.
• Promote the entire range of Welch Allyn products and systems through phone, email, and virtual channels.
• Interact with stakeholders, including C-suite executives, nursing administration, cardiology, radiology, respiratory care, medical/surgical units, emergency departments, clinical informatics, IT, biomed, and materials management.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, encompassing opportunity prioritization, forecasting, qualification of smaller-dollar opportunities, and pursuits in small hospitals and primary care settings.
• Conduct extensive prospecting, qualify leads, and generate new opportunities.
• Arrange product demonstrations for Baxter’s Account Executives.
• Utilize business intelligence and sales analysis tools and reports to enhance and drive opportunities.
• Fulfill administrative duties and keep Salesforce.com updated.
• Travel up to 20%, including occasional overnight trips.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Previous sales experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in medical and/or capital equipment sales is advantageous.
• Proficient understanding of Windows-based applications, including Word and Excel.
• Strong preference for candidates with CRM or Salesforce.com experience.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work independently.
• Proficient in understanding and influencing personnel from nursing staff to C-level decision makers.
• Strong analytical skills for overseeing sales activities, developing sales strategies, understanding local market trends, and analyzing sales agreements.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to structure sales agreements, collaborate with team members, and achieve key milestones in the sales process.
• Must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
