This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Assist with clinical case coverage while fostering relationships.
• Successfully complete all necessary training throughout the program.
• Provide coverage for open territories, including vacancies and leaves of absence.
• Implement targeted selling campaigns.
• Acquire, practice, and present approved clinical and sales communication tracks.
• Support on-site training, in-services, and approved customer education initiatives.
• Log customer interactions, cases, and sales activities in Salesforce (SFDC).
• Collaborate with Territory Managers, District Managers, and various cross-functional teams.
• Engage in coaching, feedback sessions, and performance reviews.
• Comply with hospital credentialing, regulatory, and compliance standards.
• Represent Medtronic in a professional manner during customer interactions and clinical settings.
• Cover a multi-state area and be prepared to travel at least 75% of the time, including significant overnight stays.
• Act as a dedicated consultant to healthcare providers regarding the use of the product portfolio.
• Coordinate with internal partners to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Aim for potential advancement to Territory Manager within 18–24 months, depending on business needs and role availability.
• Achieve quarterly MBO objectives, including physician/staff training, procedures covered, market development efforts, territory coverage, leads and opportunities generated, and revenue produced.
• High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree with 2 years, or a Bachelor’s degree with no prior experience in sales, clinical, or related fields within medical devices, MedTech, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Must reside within 40 miles of Orlando or Tampa.
• Willingness to relocate is required.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
• Preferably 1-3 years of previous sales experience.
• Basic knowledge of company products and services is desired.
• Previous experience in medical device, business-to-business, or technical sales is preferred.
• Completion of prior sales training is advantageous.
• Proven history of success in previous roles, indicated by high sales performance.
• Strong customer orientation in sales delivery and relationship building.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective persuasion abilities.
• A coachable attitude and willingness to accept feedback.
• Comfort with understanding technical products and clinical terminology.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced procedural environments.
• Capacity to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds regularly.
• For degrees obtained outside of the United States, a degree that meets 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
