This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bulgaria.
• Oversee site payment activities at the study level, ensuring that project milestones, quality standards, and contractual obligations are met.
• Organize, prioritize, and relay study-specific tasks to project team members.
• Guarantee that work is completed on time and adheres to established processes and protocols.
• Guide and assist junior team members regarding site payment processes and best practices.
• Recognize project risks and formulate mitigation strategies and action plans.
• Appropriately escalate issues to facilitate successful study execution.
• Serve as the functional lead for assigned studies.
• Analyze and interpret financial reports while monitoring the financial health of projects.
• Initiate modifications to contracts and ensure that projects are adequately resourced.
• Generate key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics at both the study and program levels.
• Act as the main Site Payments contact for Sponsors, Project Leads, Clinical Team Managers, and other stakeholders.
• Deliver regular project updates and customized solutions to meet FSP client requirements.
• Engage in both internal and external project meetings.
• Communicate updates on study progress, financial status, risks, and action plans.
• Master’s degree, preferably in Finance or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience with Site Payments processes, systems, and technologies.
• General knowledge of clinical research, pharmaceutical development, and financial principles related to clinical trial site payments.
• Strong grasp of project management fundamentals, including scope, timelines, quality, cost, and financial oversight.
• Experience within the Functional Service Provider (FSP) model is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer orientation, problem-solving abilities, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Organizational, planning, negotiation, presentation, and coordination capabilities.
• Ability to mentor peers and influence cross-functional teams.
• Competence in managing multiple time-sensitive priorities while ensuring quality and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret project and financial data and create forecasts.
• Capacity to independently lead study-related tasks with minimal supervision.
• Proactive identification and resolution of project issues.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Site Payment platforms, EDC systems, ticketing, and financial applications.
• Understanding of ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP), relevant country regulations, tax obligations, and other regulatory requirements related to clinical trial payment management.
