This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia, +2 more countries.
• Assist the Producer or Lead Producer in organizing, coordinating, and delivering the designated development project.
• Aid the team in achieving a high-quality product within the set timeline, budget, and scope.
• Contribute to the organization, execution, and monitoring of project activities across various development areas.
• Create, maintain, and oversee development schedules, task boards, project documentation, and production reports.
• Monitor progress against established milestones and follow up with team members regarding pending tasks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Facilitate and lead regular team or sub-team meetings, ensuring that actions and decisions are accurately documented and communicated.
• Foster effective communication among development disciplines, project leadership, clients, and other business stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of milestone deliverables to both clients and internal management.
• Identify production risks, blockers, and resource constraints, escalating them to the relevant stakeholders.
• Aid in removing obstacles affecting the development team and support the resolution of cross-discipline dependencies.
• Collaborate with team leads to set clear priorities, goals, and expectations.
• Monitor team capacity, workload, and productivity, highlighting potential issues before they impact delivery.
• Support the onboarding and integration of new team members.
• Contribute to retrospectives, project reviews, and ongoing improvements in production processes.
• Keep project information accurate and up-to-date within the relevant production and project-management tools.
• Encourage open communication, collaboration, and a positive working atmosphere within the team.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination, production, project management, or team coordination.
• Prior experience in supporting or coordinating a PC, console, or live-operations game project is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficient in productivity and project-management tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Jira, Hansoft, Confluence, or Microsoft Project.
• Competent in preparing and maintaining schedules, task trackers, meeting notes, status reports, and other production documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Comfortable collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across areas such as art, design, engineering, QA, and audio.
• Capable of identifying potential risks, dependencies, and problem areas and escalating them to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Proactive, adaptable, and effective in a fast-paced development environment.
• Able to balance quality, scope, schedule, cost, and team considerations when supporting production decisions.
• Capable of working independently while maintaining regular communication with project leadership.
• Demonstrates a collaborative and supportive approach when working with team members and stakeholders.
• Passionate about video games with a solid understanding of the PC and console gaming market.
• Nice to Have: Experience in Scrum, Agile or other iterative project-management methodologies, SAFe or another scaled Agile framework, Live Operations or post-launch content delivery, PC and console game development, console certification and submission processes, co-development or work-for-hire projects, working with distributed or international development teams, client-facing project coordination, supporting external development partners or vendors, relevant project-management training or certification.
