Associate Principal Consultant, Salesforce Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead initiatives for Salesforce business analysis, discovery, and requirement gathering across both business and technology teams.

• Independently conduct Discovery and Design Workshops to gain insights into business processes, challenges, requirements, and desired outcomes.

• Convert business requirements into scalable and configurable Salesforce solutions.

• Define and document Salesforce requirements, which encompass workflows, reports, custom objects, validation rules, business processes, and data needs.

• Oversee Salesforce projects from requirements gathering to planning, execution, scope management, and delivery.

• Create and maintain documentation for solutions, including process flows, data models, business requirements, and technical specifications.

• Work collaboratively with design, development, QA, and technical teams to translate business needs into effective solutions.

• Establish and uphold a strategy for requirements management, which includes elicitation, documentation, review, approval, and change management processes.

• Facilitate activities related to backlog grooming, requirement prioritization, refinement, and stakeholder approval.

• Monitor project scope against the SOW, identify deviations, and communicate necessary changes through change control.

• Identify and address complex business and process challenges, including conducting root cause analysis when needed.

• Assist in Agile delivery ceremonies, such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Ensure effective communication and coordination with stakeholders throughout the Salesforce project lifecycle.

• Confirm that Salesforce solutions meet critical business operations, process requirements, and user needs.

• Maintain documentation of requirements and solutions for implementation, testing, deployment, and future enhancements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 9 years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst.

• Strong practical experience in Salesforce business analysis, requirements gathering, process analysis, solution design, and stakeholder management.

• Proven expertise in independently leading Discovery and Design Workshops with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Experience in translating business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions, which include workflows, reports, custom objects, validation rules, and configurable solutions.

• Experience overseeing Salesforce projects from start to finish, including requirements gathering, planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination.

• Proficiency in creating and maintaining Salesforce solution documentation, including process flows, data models, requirements, and technical specifications.

• Ability to collaborate with design and technical teams to meet business processes and operational requirements.

• Experience in developing and maintaining a requirements management strategy, which includes elicitation processes, documentation standards, review, and approval mechanisms.

• Understanding of backlog grooming, requirements prioritization, attributes, review, and approval processes.

• Experience in monitoring project scope against the SOW, identifying scope variances, and supporting change control processes.

• Good-to-have experience with JIRA or similar Agile project management tools.

• Good-to-have experience in Root Cause Analysis and structured problem-solving.

• Strong experience in an Agile delivery environment.

• Excellent skills in analysis, problem-solving, stakeholder management, project management, collaboration, as well as written and verbal communication.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
