Associate Power Platform Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Design, create, test, implement, and maintain software solutions that gather data and facilitate process automation.

• Configure and tailor enterprise software applications utilizing Microsoft SharePoint, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and architect secure, scalable, reliable, user-friendly, and accessible technical solutions.

• Engage in demonstrations and discussions regarding solutions and platform functionalities with clients and potential clients.

• Work with the team to develop, test, and implement configurations and low-code solutions within an agile development framework.

• Adhere to and enhance standards for solution design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation.

• Evaluate solutions to ensure that releases adhere to efficiency, quality, security, and reliability benchmarks.

• Provide maintenance and technical support for enterprise applications in line with organizational standards and service-level agreements.

• Stay informed about industry trends and acquire knowledge of new technologies, including AI capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 2 years of experience in designing technical solutions and managing enterprise applications or a related position.

• Basic understanding of database and software development principles.

• Ability to adapt to changing conditions with flexibility.

• Strong focus on detail.

• Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Capability to “think outside the box” to devise innovative solutions and methodologies.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Preferred: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals certification.

• Preferred: Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate certification.

• Preferred: Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate certification.

• Preferred experience in automating business processes; AI tools (Copilot Studio), LLMs, and MCP servers; Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Pages, Dataverse, Power BI); Microsoft Power Platform administration; Microsoft SharePoint administration; SQL and MS SQL Server Management Studio; software development lifecycle and DevOps CI/CD; Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum); Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations / X++; Microsoft Entra ID; HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Liquid templates; PowerShell and Azure CLI; Azure cloud/services.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools to boost productivity and enhance code quality.

• Familiarity with responsible AI principles, including data privacy, security, bias mitigation, model transparency, and regulatory considerations.
