This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and sustain relationships with leaders in state agencies, department heads, and procurement officials.
• Facilitate interactions at the C-level and lead consultative strategy discussions.
• Oversee the entire process and deliverables of complex deal engagements.
• Enhance client satisfaction and secure long-term references within public sector accounts across Georgia.
• Identify, pursue, and convert business opportunities within SLED that align with state budget cycles and funding mechanisms.
• Spearhead responses to RFPs, RFIs, sole-source justifications, and cooperative purchasing contracts.
• Collaborate with solution architects and commercial teams to create value-driven proposals.
• Take ownership of the design and oversight of complex engagements.
• Provide guidance to state and local government entities on hybrid cloud migrations, AI integration, enterprise architecture, and infrastructure resilience.
• Cultivate thought leadership, external eminence, and intellectual capital for Kyndryl Consult.
• Drive signings, revenue, backlog growth, and target engagement margins.
• Define project scope, negotiate fees, and manage risks associated with consulting engagements.
• Ensure team utilization and uphold delivery quality standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary consulting teams while fostering a supportive, commercially-oriented culture.
• Mentor and develop consulting talent within the SLED practice.
• Demonstrated experience in a consultative sales or advisory role focused on IT professional services, cloud migration, and digital transformation for state and local government entities.
• Proven ability to identify, pursue, and successfully close business opportunities within Georgia's state and local government accounts.
• Familiarity with public sector procurement regulations, public contracting laws, RFPs, RFIs, and cooperative purchasing vehicles such as NASPO, OMNIA, or GSA schedules.
• Extensive experience in leading and executing complex projects with multidisciplinary teams across IT, finance, legal, and leadership stakeholder groups.
• Practical experience in driving revenue growth, negotiating fee structures, and managing profitability and deal margins.
• Working knowledge of StateRAMP, FedRAMP, CJIS, HIPAA, and FERPA.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience in drafting formal government solicitation responses and executive presentations.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field.
• Preferred experience within a state government agency, municipal department, public school district, or university system in Georgia.
• Experience in leading digital equity initiatives, smart city programs, or public sector modernization projects throughout extended sales cycles.
• Established network of executive relationships with Georgia state agencies, local municipalities, or higher education institutions.
• Familiarity with Microsoft, Google Cloud, AWS, or Salesforce.
• Relevant public cloud certifications or technology consulting credentials.
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Public Administration, or a related field.
