Associate – Market Shaping

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in implementing CHAI's market-shaping strategies across various programmatic areas.

• Formulate market access strategies for commodities related to preeclampsia and maternal anemia for antenatal care in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).

• Create market access strategies for AI-enhanced diagnostics, including AI-enabled point-of-care ultrasound technology.

• Conduct landscape assessments and analyze suppliers and distributors, encompassing due diligence, market share, pricing, development and regulatory timelines, manufacturing capacity, and access strategies.

• Develop demand forecasts and uptake models to guide access pricing and supplier negotiations.

• Execute cost and impact analyses for financing, procurement, and distribution models.

• Analyze requirements for country introduction and scale-up, focusing on cost, budget implications, and financing options.

• Prepare presentations, reports, investment cases, and analyses; communicate findings to both internal and external audiences.

• Collaborate with CHAI country teams, program teams, cross-cutting teams, donors, governments, suppliers, and global partners.

• Create market analytic frameworks, tools, and templates, serving as a resource for market analytics across MST projects.

• Support business development through proposal writing and engagement with donors.

• Maintain relationships with senior-level stakeholders.

• Perform additional responsibilities as required by the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with over 4 years of relevant experience in a dynamic, results-driven environment (e.g., management consulting, industry, global health, government, or multilateral organizations).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative modeling abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the preparation of presentations and written reports, as well as presenting to internal and external stakeholders.

• Capability to think strategically, navigate ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural, remote setting.

• Proficient in driving assigned workstreams through effective work planning, priority setting, and stakeholder engagement.

• Skillful in fostering collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior-level individuals.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

• Ability to secure work authorization for the selected CHAI program country, if applicable.
