Associate Manager, Clinical Health Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Supervise the execution of healthcare management services for the designated functional area.

• Ensure policies and procedures align with regulatory and accreditation standards, including NCQA and URAC.

• Develop and oversee the implementation of best-practice strategies and innovations throughout the continuum of care.

• Coordinate with key business areas.

• Oversee resources responsible for member identification, care-plan development and execution, medical appropriateness, quality of care, as well as care monitoring and documentation.

• May manage an individual case load.

• Act as a primary contact for customers and Account Teams, facilitating customer meetings and the integration of customer cultural needs.

• Assist in the onboarding of new customers.

• Evaluate developmental needs and implement action plans to foster high-performing teams.

• Encourage teamwork, cross-product integration, and a continuum-of-care perspective.

• Lead change initiatives as a proactive change agent.

• Collaborate with licensed staff to oversee the activities of clinical staff and licensed personnel.

• Mentor the team regarding practice standards, intervention quality, problem resolution, and critical thinking.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active and unrestricted LCPC, LCSW, or RN license in the state of Illinois.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a physical or behavioral healthcare environment.

• At least 1 year of management experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in managed care.

• Familiarity with regulations, standards, and policies pertinent to medical management.

• Bachelor’s degree in health or human services or a related field is required.

• Preferred: Certified Case Manager (CCM).

• Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
