Associate Instructional Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Develop and provide both on-demand and live virtual training that transforms intricate software concepts into accessible, user-friendly learning experiences.

• Oversee the onboarding program for Candescent’s Client Care team, which includes facilitating live virtual sessions and collaborating with Care managers.

• Design and execute on-demand and live webinars focused on soft skills crucial for the success of Client Care.

• Create and produce self-paced on-demand courses, videos, job aids, and occasional live webinars; record courses and videos as necessary.

• Formulate assessment tools, such as tests, to measure participant understanding.

• Implement instructional design principles and adult learning theories to educate on business and software concepts.

• Handle multiple projects, work autonomously, thrive under pressure, and deliver high-quality outcomes punctually.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to define training content and scope.

• Integrate audience analysis, job tasks, storyboards, flowcharts, performance objectives, testing strategies, and learning activities into the instructional design process.

• Utilize AI effectively in the design and development phases.

• Engage in internal reviews of materials prior to the broad distribution of new learning content.

• Continuously assess, enhance, and improve training materials.

• Innovate processes, tools, and training designs.

• Contribute to departmental templates and improvements in processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in instructional design, business, communications, or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 4–5 years of experience in instructional design with a focus on eLearning is required.

• Experience within the software industry is preferred.

• Comprehensive understanding of instructional design and principles of adult learning, strategies, and techniques.

• Native proficiency in both written and spoken English.

• Proficiency in Articulate 360, Copilot, Camtasia, Snagit, Microsoft Office Suite, and online collaboration tools such as Teams or equivalent.

• Skilled in using AI for designing training courses and in day-to-day tasks.

• Strong project management abilities.

• Capacity to work independently, thrive under pressure, and meet deadlines.

• Exceptional verbal, writing, and composition skills.

• Robust research, interviewing, and technical skills.

• Capability to communicate effectively with diverse learning audiences.

• Availability to work from 2 pm to 10 pm.
