This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Act as the project leader for the implementation of regulatory procedures and initiatives aimed at process enhancement.
• Oversee departmental training, communication protocols, and adjustments at both national and divisional levels.
• Manage suspect products, including their investigation, control, documentation, release, and final disposition.
• Participate in root cause analysis meetings.
• Resolve collections-related issues via the problem management system.
• Address customer complaints, oversee material review board processes, and manage supply and equipment problem deficiency reports.
• Design, implement, and monitor initiatives for process and quality improvement, along with staff training protocols.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Confirm that training and regulatory communication documentation is precise and timely.
• Assist in internal and external audits and evaluations.
• Visit blood drives and collection sites to evaluate compliance and standardization.
• Provide on-call support for collection processes.
• A Bachelor's degree is required or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience in the Process Improvement department is highly preferred.
• Relevant background in problem investigation and resolution is preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
• Proficiency in analyzing problems and suggesting suitable solutions.
• Ability to quickly assimilate information.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• May be required to have on-call responsibilities.
