This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to assist in the maintenance, installation, and repair of SCIEX products at client locations.

• Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshoot repairs on designated products.

• Carry out installation and repair tasks independently.

• Enhance your understanding of SCIEX products and develop the technical expertise required to perform high-quality maintenance and troubleshooting repairs on instruments.

• Operate under the close guidance and mentorship of a manager, regional specialist, and Senior Engineers within the designated territory.

• Provide coverage for the Duesseldorf and Cologne area remotely.

• Engage in travel for customer visits and/or training purposes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training, preferably with additional qualifications as a state-certified technician, or a degree in electrical engineering, medical technology, chemistry, or physics.

• Experience in operating and maintaining scientific instruments in a laboratory or healthcare environment, particularly in chemistry, biology, or life sciences.

• Proficiency in both German and English.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Openness to travel for several days at a time for customer visits and/or training.

• A valid driver's license is mandatory.

• Prior experience in field service activities is advantageous.

• Familiarity with mass spectrometry, chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, or similar technologies, or basic knowledge in these areas is a plus.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is an advantage.
