This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Develop and enhance relationships with both established and emerging Medical Experts within the Dermatology field.
• Conduct compliant engagements with Medical Experts to gather insights that support strategic business objectives.
• Facilitate discussions utilizing approved resources to guide marketing and educational strategies.
• Collect, synthesize, and convey actionable insights to cross-functional teams.
• Assist in peer-to-peer education initiatives through expert insights, speaker development, and educational planning.
• Moderate sanctioned educational programs and peer exchanges in line with company policies.
• Lead or assist in advisory boards, insight forums, speaker initiatives, and various marketing programs.
• Organize Medical Expert engagement activities during congresses, society meetings, and external events.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, HCP Education, and Congress teams to implement cohesive strategies.
• Utilize digital tools and CRM platforms to improve engagement planning, insight generation, and teamwork.
• Travel 60–80% within the CA, OR, WA, and HI regions.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Thought Leader/Medical Expert engagement, field-based marketing, regional marketing, HCP education, Medical Science Liaison, account management, medical communications, or a similar role in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Must reside in or near Los Angeles, CA.
• Willingness to travel 60–80% of the time across CA, OR, WA, and HI.
• Capability to drive and/or fly within the designated territory.
• A fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license is mandatory.
• Proven track record of building effective, compliant relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers, healthcare professionals, and other external stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of field-based marketing, Medical Expert engagement, insight generation, peer-to-peer education, congress planning, and compliant cross-functional teamwork.
• Ability to implement strategic plans, manage several priorities, and produce high-quality work in a complex, matrixed environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Proficient in synthesizing information and clearly sharing insights with internal stakeholders.
• Capable of influencing without formal authority and forging productive internal and external partnerships.
• Strong organizational, project management, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with CRM, digital engagement, insight capture, or productivity tools.
• Financial and budget management skills.
• Commitment to compliance, ethical decision-making, professionalism, and adherence to company policies.
• Expertise in the rheumatology therapeutic area and field leadership experience is advantageous.
• Experience working collaboratively across Marketing, Medical Affairs, HCP Education, Congress Strategy, and field leadership is desirable.
