This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +2 more states.
• Formulate and implement a regional strategy that aligns with national objectives and launch priorities.
• Identify key institutions, thought leaders, and referral connections throughout the diagnosis, testing, counseling, referral, and treatment process.
• Leverage regional and account-level insights to prioritize engagements, uncover cross-account obstacles, and assist Account Managers in their planning and execution.
• Collaborate with MSLs on mutual thought leaders, scientific requirements, and joint engagements.
• Build and sustain compliant relationships with national and regional experts, center leaders, and influential community and neuromuscular practices.
• Create and implement approved national and regional peer-to-peer education initiatives.
• Identify qualified advisors and, upon approval, promotional faculty.
• Gather and synthesize aggregate, non-patient-specific insights from the field.
• Analyze insights across accounts and integrate findings into regional business strategies.
• Stay informed about publicly accessible information on disease, treatment, evidence, and the competitive landscape.
• Lead approved engagements with local and regional advocacy organizations.
• Spot opportunities using advocacy resources, programs, and professional networks to meet regional educational, referral, and support needs.
• Provide regional feedback on potential partnerships and sponsorships.
• Direct the commercial thought-leader engagement strategy for key national and regional congresses and professional society meetings.
• Collaborate with Marketing on launch strategies, disease education needs, peer-to-peer programs, congress arrangements, and faculty strategies.
• Work alongside Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Account Managers, and other functional partners.
• Report safety information and product complaints through established company procedures.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of eight years of relevant biopharmaceutical experience, encompassing field marketing, TLL, market development, product marketing, thought-leader engagement, or another strategic field role.
• Recent experience in rare or ultra-rare diseases, neurology, neuromuscular diseases, genetics, or diagnostics is highly preferred.
• Proven pre-launch and launch experience, including the capacity to navigate distinct pre- and post-approval engagement boundaries.
• Ability to work independently and compliantly in a field position without a defined franchise infrastructure.
• Strong clinical and scientific fluency to engage credibly in disease-state discussions with senior specialist audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to translate ambiguity into actionable field plans.
• Exceptional skills in relationship building and executive presence with senior clinicians, professional organizations, and cross-functional teams.
• Disciplined judgment regarding the boundaries of commercial and medical roles and pre- and post-approval engagement regulations.
• Strong analytical skills to map influence networks, diagnostic and referral workflows, and regional opportunities; capacity to produce concise, actionable insights.
• Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Experience with advisory boards and the execution and quality oversight of disease-state programs before approval and branded speaker programs post-approval.
• Proficient with CRM, insight management, virtual engagement, and standard business platforms.
• Commitment to maintaining documentation quality, privacy, and adherence to company policies.
• Willingness and ability to travel over 50% of the time, including significant overnight and occasional weekend travel.
• Capability to attend priority national and regional congresses, advisory boards, and evening programs as business needs arise.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to meet company fleet, driving, and travel criteria.
• Must reside within the Central/West territory with practical access to a major hub airport; preference for residence in Chicago, Dallas, or Denver.
