This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and manage technical engineering managers and multidisciplinary teams engaged in utility-scale solar, wind, and battery energy storage projects.
• Oversee and direct engineering activities throughout the proposal, design, quality control, and construction phases.
• Deliver project leadership, manage subconsultants, oversee scope and change management, and ensure schedule compliance.
• Coordinate and direct various engineering disciplines on significant or large projects.
• Ensure project quality meets both client and company standards.
• Provide strategic guidance, leadership, and oversight of technical services for staff.
• Supervise and approve team budgets, revenue, profitability, and indirect costs.
• Mentor, train, and develop management personnel.
• Conduct management meetings and one-on-one discussions, including career development, talent evaluation, succession planning, reviews, promotions, and engagement initiatives.
• Assess workforce capacity and skills, facilitate cross-team and cross-office resource allocation, and make decisions regarding merit and bonuses.
• Assist in company-wide recruitment efforts through resume reviews, technical phone interviews, and assessments.
• Lead ongoing departmental improvement and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with Business Development to implement territory sales strategies, enhance services, increase revenue, and control costs.
• Organize proposal resources, evaluate proposals, and assist with contracts, work orders, MSAs, and NDAs.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and represent the Renewables Civil Department in discussions with clients and the market.
• Previous management experience is essential, including leading managers, nurturing talent, and building accountable teams.
• Experience in renewable design is necessary.
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of the industry are required.
• Exceptional presentation, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
• Authorization to work permanently in the United States is required.
• PE Registration is preferred.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field from an ABET-accredited program is preferred.
• Equivalent experience may be taken into account.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in consulting engineering or a related infrastructure-focused environment is preferred.
• Experience in supporting utility-scale renewable energy projects is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated sound judgment, initiative, and a collaborative leadership approach.

• Ability to cultivate effective relationships with employees, managers, clients, partners, and external stakeholders.
• Capable of managing multiple priorities and establishing clear expectations.
• Ability to identify improvement and growth opportunities while evaluating risk, capacity, and organizational impact.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Additional software experience may be required or preferred based on specialty area.
