This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.
• Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with Rheumatology Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), influential figures, and Centers of Excellence throughout the Southeast region and nationally.
• Oversee the planning and execution of congresses, including the coordination of interactions with thought leaders and C-suite executives.
• Manage and provide guidance for the speakers bureau, including training and implementation.
• Assist in the development of commercial advisory boards through insights from the field and participation from KOLs.
• Engage with C-suite executives within supergroups and major national accounts to manage rebate agreements, conduct quarterly business reviews, and facilitate GPO contract execution.
• Collaborate with advocacy organizations to gain insights into market changes and challenges.
• Conduct engagements with thought leaders to extract actionable insights, identify regional trends, and gather competitive intelligence.
• Gather and relay market insights from field interactions to guide commercial and medical strategies.
• Evaluate business opportunities and priorities by analyzing regional healthcare trends and their implications for account strategies.
• Ensure alignment with Field Sales, Field Medical, Marketing, Market Access, Patient Access, Account Executives, and Policy teams.
• Facilitate the growth of Orencia® and SOTYKTU™ across the Southeast region.
• A BS/BA degree is mandatory.
• At least 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
• Previous experience as a thought leader liaison or in regional/national account management is essential.
• Recent experience in rheumatology with a solid understanding of supergroups, key thought leaders, and/or Centers of Excellence is highly preferred.
• Prior experience in people management is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and capacity to network in complex internal and external environments are necessary.
• Experience with biologics, buy-and-bill, and/or specialty medications is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills are essential.
• Excellent oral, written communication, and presentation skills are required.
• Capability to navigate complex accounts and engage with a variety of stakeholders is necessary.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%, including overnight stays, is required.
• A valid driver’s license within the 50 United States is required.
