This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee the development of educational grants and create content for secured funding.
• Discover and cultivate ongoing grant development opportunities through research, analysis, and networking with expert faculty.
• Undertake scientific and medical writing and manage project deliverables.
• Perform literature reviews on clinical trials, peer-reviewed publications, clinical guidelines, and other medical/scientific resources.
• Create needs assessments, grant proposals, accurate content, program titles, learning objectives, agendas, and formats.
• Identify publishing opportunities and craft abstracts, scientific posters, presentations, and journal articles.
• Design and implement continuing education activities and research-based initiatives for interprofessional healthcare teams.
• Serve as an adult learning authority in grant development, program design, execution, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with colleagues, departments, and stakeholders to deliver educational products and services.
• Develop high-quality medical and scientific content that aligns with adult learning and interprofessional education principles.
• Contribute to grant planning and development, educational designs, formats, execution strategies, and outcome evaluations.
• Build relationships with healthcare leaders to collect expert insights and educational requirements.
• Assist in measuring outcomes, including planning measurement, creating survey instruments, conducting program analyses, and communicating findings.
• Produce scientific articles, abstracts, presentations based on outcomes, and publications.
• Communicate opportunities, needs, ideas, and timelines to align with company and departmental objectives.
• Identify and address instructional design challenges, providing timely recommendations to the Therapeutic Group Director, Scientific Affairs.
• Review content from medical writers and freelancers, offering guidance or revisions for clinical relevance and accuracy.
• Participate in PRIME’s learning model and its implementation strategies.
• Attend meetings in the Scientific Affairs Department, including grant and content planning sessions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of a Master’s degree (PhD or PharmD preferred) in a scientific, medical, or related field suitable for the work scope.
• At least 4 years of experience in the design and development of continuing medical education (CME/CE) activities for healthcare professionals is preferred.
• Experience in creating CME/CE activities funded by pharmaceutical companies and government contracts or grants is preferred.
• Background in training, project management, and/or staff supervision within a team-oriented environment is preferred.
• Capacity to operate independently and manage multiple high-level responsibilities and projects with precision and efficiency.
• Capability to research, design, and produce high-caliber scientific grant and medical writing independently.
• Ability to perform literature reviews and assess scientific/medical research independently.
• Skill in executing medical writing that complies with AMA standards and grant development protocols.
• Proficiency in organizing and delivering educational designs and outputs effectively, fluently, and accurately.
• Strong analytical thinking skills to present complex data findings clearly and succinctly.
• Ability to gather information from credible sources for grant development.
• Creative vision to identify and implement innovative educational program designs and formats.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the healthcare sector, pharmaceutical pipelines, healthcare policies, and the CE industry.
• Experience in developing content related to various disease areas, including oncology, diabetes, endocrinology, neurology, rheumatology, cardiology, ophthalmology, dermatology, respiratory issues, pain management, mental health, women’s health, gastroenterology, hepatology, infectious diseases, or immune-mediated inflammatory diseases.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
