This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Operate within an integrated planning, cost, and risk framework to maximize resource efficiency and fulfill work-plan scopes while adhering to budgetary and temporal constraints.
• Ensure that the established planning and scheduling methodologies are consistently applied.
• Create project milestone and progress-tracking benchmarks.
• Evaluate subcontractor adherence to the scheduling methodologies.
• Contribute to the Work Breakdown Structure for effective project performance assessment.
• Examine schedule data to identify trends, challenges, and areas necessitating attention.
• Relay schedule insights to the Project Director and the project team.
• Collaborate with both internal and external project clients regarding scheduling matters.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to the planning team.
• Oversee schedule reporting, forecast updates, and contingency management for designated work packages.
• Manage timely schedule updates, analysis, and reporting.
• Ensure that contractor schedules align with integrated schedules and milestones.
• Assess resource needs and availability impacts while suggesting recovery strategies.
• Comply with applicable SOX control responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field in construction.
• A graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred.
• At least 8 years of pertinent experience in a scheduling role within the construction industry.
• Experience working in complex, fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Practical knowledge of network planning structures and techniques.
• Proficient in Primavera Project Planner 6.0 or higher and Microsoft Project.
• Capability to support broader business initiatives, including responding to RFPs.
• Exceptional presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.
