This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
β’ Lead and implement the strategy for field operations that supports commercial and medical teams across various therapeutic areas.
β’ Develop scalable processes, tools, and policies to ensure compliant and effective field operations.
β’ Supervise processes related to field operations, governance, performance standards, CRM systems, roster management, and reporting platforms.
β’ Collaborate with senior commercial leaders to predict operational requirements and deploy proactive solutions.
β’ Facilitate committees and processes for the compliant design, documentation, and administration of incentive plans.
β’ Create incentive compensation plans, including tracking, reconciliation of attainments, payout calculations, and standardized reporting.
β’ Lead discussions in quarterly incentive compensation committees and secure stakeholder approvals.
β’ Manage processes related to territory, roster, and alignment, including optimized coverage models and compliant assignments.
β’ Coordinate the onboarding operational elements for new field hires in collaboration with Training, HR, and Compliance.
β’ Oversee field communications, playbooks, and updates to processes.
β’ Assist in planning deployments for product launches and expansions or restructures of the field force.
β’ Supervise standardized reporting suites, dashboards, and business insights for field teams and leadership.
β’ Track KPIs, identify trends, and propose operational enhancements.
β’ Collaborate with Analytics and Data Operations to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliant usage.
β’ Ensure that processes comply with FDA, OIG, and corporate compliance standards.
β’ Maintain documentation that is audit-ready and controls for field interactions.
β’ Drive continuous improvement initiatives for systems and processes within field operations.
β’ Work in partnership with Commercial, Medical Affairs, IT, Legal, HR, and Finance to ensure field readiness.
β’ Represent the Field Operations team in strategic planning, governance, and launch preparation efforts.
β’ Perform any additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
β’ Bachelorβs degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in Field Operations, Commercial Operations, Sales Operations, or related roles in the biotech or pharmaceutical sectors.
β’ Demonstrated experience in creating strategic and equitable incentive compensation plans.
β’ Proven leadership experience in managing complex operational programs that support field-based teams.
β’ Deep understanding of FDA, OIG, and industry compliance regulations related to field activities.
β’ Experience in managing CRM systems (e.g., Veeva), field analytics platforms, and roster/alignment technologies.
β’ Established ability to collaborate across functions and influence senior-level stakeholders.
β’ Experience in supporting product launches in small to mid-sized biotech companies is preferred.
β’ Prior management experience leading high-performing operational teams is preferred.
β’ Advanced analytical skills and familiarity with field insights or forecasting tools are preferred.
β’ Capability to design and scale Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), governance models, and operational infrastructures.
β’ Strong project management skills and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
