Associate Director, Sales – Industry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Create and implement strategic initiatives for selling memberships and solutions within a designated prospect pool.

• Propel revenue growth by acquiring new members, with a focus on multi-year large-scale contracts.

• Conduct consultative presentations, both one-on-one and in small groups, for potential members on-site.

• Build and maintain relationships with CXO level audiences.

• Align market-segment priorities, challenges, and opportunities with Academy solutions.

• Collaborate with internal teams to support new business initiatives.

• Partner with sales associates on lead generation, pipeline development, and logistical coordination.

• Transition closed deals to the Account Management team while ensuring member satisfaction, renewal strategies, and future growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a complex and consultative sales environment, or relevant experience within an Association setting.

• Familiarity with the healthcare industry.

• Proven track record of meeting revenue objectives and/or quotas.

• Experience with Salesforce is preferred.

• Strong persuasive communication skills when engaging with senior executives.

• Exceptional communication and client-facing abilities.

• Outstanding organizational skills.

• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

• Willingness to travel long distances, including by air.

• Ability to talk and hear, along with close and distance vision requirements.
